--Washington DC: When you first spot a UFO, your brain scrambles for reasonable explanations. 99% of the time, you find one, or convince yourself that what you saw was entirely terrestrial in origin. But darn, those 1% of sightings that are almost impossible to explain away pose an even bigger problem.
Do you tell your friends? Do you call the police? Do you post your fuzzy videos or pictures on Facebook or Instagram?
Not too long ago, a genuine sighting was often kept private. No one wanted to be called a crackpot or tin-foil-hat wearing conspiracist.
“This used to be a career-ending kind of thing,” said John Podesta, once Bill Clinton's Chief of Staff. “You didn’t want to get caught talking about it because you’d be accused of walking out of an ‘X-Files’ episode.”
But those days are over. The government has officially recognized that UFOs are not only real, but they may pose a genuine security threat. The Defense Department has established a new task force to "detect, analyze and catalog UAPs (unecplained aerial phenomena) that could potentially pose a threat to U.S. national security."
At the same time, the Government has released remarkable videos captured by Air Force and Navy pilots who were tracking unidentified "Tic Tac" shaped UFOs moving at speeds far beyond our current technology. As more and more official videos are released, Strange Sightings LIVE will bring them to you unedited, and uncensored. In the meantime, don't be shy, tell us your story, Send us your images and videos. Join our community and become an active part of our MILLION eyes watching the skies.
